Publisher's Description
STGuru Web Site Edition (STGS) is the ActiveX component edition of STGuru. It is designed to be used conveniently as a development component for developers for the purpose of professional quality conversion between Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese such as but not limited to real-time web site conversion.
Programming interfaces are provided so users can convert Chinese characters between any two codes within follow 5 major code types. Professional quality word adjustments are supported for all these conversions:
1) GBK Simplified Chinese
2) Big5 Traditional Chinese
3) GBK Traditional Chinese
4) Unicode Simplified Chinese
5) Unicode Traditional Chinese
STGS uses the data and configuration prepared directly by STGuru to realize professional quality word adjustment. So its conversion quality is just the same as that of STGuru. At the same time, it has optimized itself so its conversion speed was tuned up to satisfy the requirements for web users.
The demo version supports all conversion methods. But you can only convert from or to a small Chinese character set (basic punctuations, and about 3755 most basic Chinese characters - National Standard Level-1 basic Chinese characters). There is no such limit in the full edition.
Two licenses are provided for STGS:
1) Standard License (or 50-year license) - you can use and update it free of charge for 50 years.
2) Simplified License (or 2-year license) - you can use and update it free of charge for 2 years. |
