Generates NMEA messages from different data inputs (map or file). Generated NMEA sentences (RMC, GGA, GLL) to COM port or file can be used by mapping or other GPS enabled software . GPS simulator can be helpful not only for software developers, but also for users, who want to learn navigation software before buying GPS receiver.
This virtual GPS receiver can operate without GPS satellites visible and therefore it can be more effective than hardware GPS receiver indoor. Virtual COM port software (virtual null-modem) can be found on web site http://avangardo.com/com.
